Vices

Have you ever felt that your trapped in a vice?
Between to loves in your life.
Trying to help, trying to love both but not wanting to hurt the other?
Like a wall between two loves, a river between two plaines?
When one comes to you in search of help and asks not to tell the other, what do you do?
Do you solomely vow, not so much to whipser a word to the other and keep it close to your heart, oh out of worry and strife mention it to the other in carefully carved words hoping that they will understand that it is because of the love you have for both is worth the risk of loss?

Have they ever thought what you often think  how do they really see me? Am I a true friend, or just a common dime a dozen weed out the bad one type. Do they trust me or not.? Do they think that under my cloak there is a blade of steel or just my bleeding heart searching for their friendship and love. Is the hug I recieve when I bade my farwell, one of we'll miss you or one of joy that I am leaving again.

There are so many choices in life to chose from, we just have to chose right, when we go on a trip how do we go if we had our choice no matter the price.

Do we travel by plane soaring over the eagles, or travel by train enjoying the sites, or by bus as you bounce along the roads and cramped like a fish in a can or do we become bold hearted and hop in our car to drive the way on our own course making midnight stops at truckstops and other places of rest. If you could only chose one soul to be your companion who would it be?
Someone to make you laugh, then be somber to almost make you cry?
Someone bold and daring willing to try anything to get the upper hand on the game of life?
Someone that you can reach out in the darkness with your hand to wrap around him only to find theirs in search of yours, someone that you can trust if you stumble or fall to pick  you up if you tried so hard and failed?

Maybe the person you thought, that cared nothing for you, is the one that is trying so hard to reach out and touch your heart only you were to blind to see.

If you were given a choice between the boy of your wildest desires everything made as if he was tailored for you? Or someone that is not quite all that, not perfect surely not handsome, someone you would say a friend maybe a lover never. Only you knew nothing about either, you just have the outer package to chose?

Would you be ashamed that one so perfect isn't so sweet, isn't so perfect after all, and the one you said never a love  but only a friend, was the one that someone indended for you.

The World is full of choices full of vices, full of hate full of love, and it is full of friends if only we would open our eyes after we have looked at them with our souls.
