Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter- silvered wings.
Sunward I've climbed and joined the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds-
And done a hundred things you have not dreamed of-
Wheeled and soared and swung high into the sunlit silence.
Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting winds along and
Flung my eager craft through the footless halls of air.

Up, up the long delirious burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew.

And while with silent lifting mind
I've trod the untrespassed sanctity of space
Put out my hand and touched the face of god.

This is dedicated to all the brave souls who have taken the courage to soar among the clouds. And to the ones who did not make it safely back to the ground again. We know they are soaring on Silver Wings with the Eagles now and forever watching over the ones who dare lift off the ground and soar among them  today and in the future. God Bless Them All.
